Overview
A host planning a cookout or July gathering gets eight BIC Maxi pocket lighters in red, white and blue Americana designs. Each has a child-resistant guard and lights candles, grills and fire pits with a thumb roll.
Patriotic designs turn an everyday tool into party decor or small gifts. Like any standard pocket lighter, the flame struggles in wind and cannot be refilled.
Who it's for
Families lighting grills and candles at holiday gatherings get a themed stack of lighters. Backpackers facing wind and rain need a torch or storm lighter.
Pros and cons
- Eight lighters per pack
- Patriotic collectible designs
- Each unit quality checked
- Disposable, not refillable
- No wind protection
- Fuel type not listed
Performance notes
A thumb rolls the spark wheel against flint while pressing the gas lever, and the child guard adds a deliberate step. An open flame struggles in wind, so shielding it helps outdoors.
