Overview
Starting guitar lessons with everything in one box is what the Kadence Acoustica kit offers, pairing a steel string acoustic with a bag, strap, spare strings, plectrums and a learning course. The body uses laminated linden with a mahogany neck.
Convenience for new players is why to buy it, since nothing else is needed to start. Size is listed in two different figures, and laminated linden gives a basic tone compared with non-laminated woods.
Who it's for
Students, teens and adults learning their first chords get everything needed to start. Intermediate players wanting richer tone should look at guitars with a non-laminated top.
Pros and cons
- Complete starter kit
- Learning course included
- Light and easy to hold
- Steel strings for bright tone
- Laminated woods throughout
- Size listed two ways
Performance notes
A laminated linden body produces a bright, simple tone and copes with humidity changes better than unlaminated wood. Steel strings are louder but firmer on fingertips than nylon. The thin neck helps small hands reach chords.
