Overview
Not a standard karaoke machine despite its category, this is a jetpack shaped voice changer toy with a built-in microphone. It plays audio over Bluetooth and is controlled with a push button.
A character design and a simple button make it easy for young children to use as a pretend play prop. The limitation is that it has a single mono speaker and is not water resistant.
Who it's for
Young children who enjoy character toys and singing along to music from a family phone or tablet. Batteries are included. Anyone wanting a full karaoke setup or outdoor splash play should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Character jetpack design
- Bluetooth to common devices
- Lightweight and portable
- Not water resistant
- Mono sound only
- Needs a paired device for music
- No charging cable
Performance notes
The microphone captures the child's voice and the toy plays it back with an altered sound, while Bluetooth carries music from a paired device. A single mono speaker limits stereo depth. Battery power frees it from cords.
