Overview
High school and college lineups get a DeMarini The Goods, an alloy barreled BBCOR bat joined to a composite handle and weighted toward the end for power. A softer knob and tapered handle cut vibration and improve grip.
Endloaded weight and a big barrel are built for hitters who drive the ball. Players who rely on bat speed and contact may find the balance heavy.
Who it's for
Power hitters in BBCOR leagues will use the endload to drive the ball. Smaller or contact focused players should look at balanced models.
Pros and cons
- Big alloy barrel
- Composite handle reduces sting
- Built in the USA
- Handle spec listed two ways
Performance notes
Power comes from mass placed toward the barrel end, which increases momentum at contact for strong swingers. The composite handle and softer knob dampen vibration so mishits hurt less.
