TRAUSI TW05 1080P Webcam with Microphone

Overview

A 1080p USB webcam with a wide-angle lens, built-in noise-canceling microphone, automatic light correction and a slide-on privacy cover. It is plug-and-play across Windows, Mac and Linux.

Automatic light correction is the feature doing the real work here, adjusting brightness and color balance in real time so a dim office or a backlit window does not wash out the picture, which matters more for call quality than resolution alone. The slide privacy cover is a physical block rather than a software toggle, useful for anyone who wants certainty the camera is off. At 1080p and 30fps it is built for calls and streaming rather than high frame rate content creation.

• 1080P HD video at 30fps, wide-angle lens
• Automatic light correction in real time
• Noise-canceling built-in microphone
• Slide-on privacy cover

Who it's for

Buyers wanting a straightforward plug-and-play webcam for video calls, online teaching or streaming, especially in rooms with inconsistent lighting. Not aimed at high frame rate or 4K content creators.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The auto light correction adjusts brightness, contrast and color balance in real time, aimed at difficult lighting like a dim office or a window backlight rather than requiring manual settings. Video is capped at 1080p and 30fps, which suits calls and standard streaming but is not built for higher frame rate capture. The noise-canceling microphone targets clear voice pickup for calls in moderately noisy rooms.
