Overview
A treestand or blind hunter gets a narrow, fast crossbow with a Let-Down triggerbox that lowers the string by hand instead of firing a bolt. The bundle adds a silent crank sled, lighted bolts, broadheads and a padded case.
Hunters get everything to go afield in one box, from scope to case to broadheads. Hand decocking saves a bolt at the end of each sit, though crossbow weight is missing from the specs.
Who it's for
Cramped blinds and treestands reward the narrow cocked width and silent crank. Shooters who already own scopes, cases and broadheads may be paying for duplicates.
Pros and cons
- Hand decocking without firing a bolt
- Silent crank sled for cocking
- Narrow profile for tight spaces
- Lighted nocks aid bolt recovery
- Crossbow weight not listed
- Case does not fit the SWAT X1
- Rope cocker and crank add carry bulk
Performance notes
Speed comes from the synchronized X-Cam system storing energy across the limbs, while let-off at full draw makes the string easier to hold and lower. Accuracy depends on the V-Track nocks keeping steady contact with the string, which also reduces serving wear.
