Overview
A regulation size 7 rubber basketball from AND1, built for outdoor and indoor courts with a grippy, durable cover. It ships deflated for shipping safety, so a needle pump is needed before first use.
The Chaos line targets budget-conscious players who want a street-ready ball rather than a premium indoor leather ball. Its rubber cover and deep channel construction favor grip on concrete over polish, and buyers should plan on supplying their own pump since none is included.
- Size 7 (29.5 inch) regulation weight and size
- AND1 Chaos deep channel construction
- Indoor/outdoor rubber cover
- Ships deflated, pump not included
Who it's for
Good for recreational players, driveway and park courts, and parents outfitting a first regulation-size ball for teens. Not the choice for someone wanting a game-day indoor composite ball.
Pros and cons
- Regulation size 7 (29.5 inch) for standard play
- Rubber cover suited to concrete and asphalt courts
- Deep channel grip aids dribbling and shooting control
- Ships deflated with no pump included
- Rubber cover trades some feel for outdoor durability
Performance notes
The deep channel construction is meant to improve grip during dribbling and shooting rather than boost pure bounce response, and the rubber cover is built to survive rough asphalt and concrete rather than gym hardwood. Because it ships deflated, actual bounce and feel depend on inflating it to proper pressure with a separately purchased pump.
