AND1 Street Ball Rubber Basketball Size 6

Overview

Not a leather game ball, the AND1 Street Ball is a rubber basketball made for gym floors and outdoor courts alike. Deep channels molded into the cover give the fingers ridges to hold, and a pump comes in the box for topping up air.

Rubber construction plus a pump in the box make this a low-fuss ball to leave by a backyard hoop or take to a street court. Its smaller size class is the detail to check first, since organized play may call for a different ball. Weight and warranty are not given.

Who it's for

Casual games in the driveway, at the park or in a school gym are the setting here. Players who need a specific size for their league, or a leather cover, should shop for a different ball.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Grip comes from the deep channels molded into the rubber cover, which give the fingertips ridges to hold during release. Bounce depends on keeping the ball at the right pressure, which is why the included pump matters. The rubber cover is listed for both indoor and outdoor surfaces, so one ball serves both settings.
