Micro Gainz Olympic Fractional Weight Plate Set

Overview

Sold as a pair, the Micro MG006 plates weigh 1.25 pounds each for 2.5 pounds total, finished in black metal and sized for adding fine increments to a bar or dumbbell load.

The brand name and the light per-plate weight both point to fractional plates meant for fine-tuning a load rather than a full plate set. Center hole diameter isn't listed, so confirm bar compatibility before ordering.

• 1.25 lb per plate
• 2.5 lb total for the pair
• Metal material
• Black finish

Who it's for

Lifters who want small increments of added weight for micro-loading a bar or dumbbell. Not suited to buyers who need this as a primary plate set, since 1.25 lb each is a fine-tuning increment, not a working weight.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Fractional plates like these nudge total load up or down in small steps, so their value comes from precise incremental loading rather than raw weight, and how well they fit a given bar depends on center hole size, which isn't specified here.
