Micro Gainz Standard Fractional Weight Plates 8 Piece

Overview

Micro MG301 is a black, sintered steel weight plate listing with 8 pieces and an item weight of 5 pounds. It isn't clear from the data whether that's the weight of one plate or the full set.

Sintered steel plates are typically denser than cast iron for a given size, which can matter for stacking on a barbell sleeve. The open question here is how the 5-pound item weight applies across the 8 listed pieces, since the data doesn't break that figure down per plate.

• Material: sintered steel
• Pieces: 8
• Item weight listed: 5 pounds
• Color: black

Who it's for

Buyers building out a plate collection who are comfortable checking the product page for the per-plate breakdown before ordering. Not ideal if you need a confirmed single-plate weight without extra digging.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Sintered steel construction tends to be dense and compact for its weight compared to cast iron, useful when stacking several plates on a shorter barbell sleeve. Because the listing's 5-pound figure isn't tied clearly to either one plate or the full set of 8, weigh or measure on arrival if precise loading matters.
