Overview
Purina's Tidy Cats LightWeight Instant Action is a clumping clay litter built for multi-cat households, sold in a 17 lb box that Purina lists as 99.9 percent dust free.
The lightweight formulation is meant to cut the weight of carrying and pouring litter compared to standard clay clumping litter, without changing the clumping or odor control performance. This is the scented variant.
- 17 lb box, clay clumping litter
- 99.9 percent dust free per the label
- Built for multi-cat households
- Scented, LightWeight Instant Action line
Who it's for
For multi-cat households that want a lighter box to lift and pour than traditional clay clumping litter, without switching away from clay entirely.
Pros and cons
- Lighter to carry and pour than standard clay litter
- Low dust formulation
- Scented for odor control
- Still a clay-based litter, not a plant-based alternative
- Scented formula may not suit cats sensitive to fragrance
Performance notes
The granule form clumps on contact for scooping, and the low-dust formulation is meant to cut airborne dust during pouring and scooping, which matters most in enclosed litter box areas shared by multiple cats.
