Overview
The Traeger TFB01WLEC is a pellet fueled smoker with an alloy steel body finished in black. At 28 x 58 x 51 in and 285 lb, it is sized as a large, semi-permanent cabinet style unit for backyard smoking sessions rather than a compact or portable model.
The 58 in height points to a tall, cabinet style build with an elevated cook chamber rather than a low tabletop unit. Pellet fuel means it draws from a hopper rather than propane tanks or charcoal bags. Exact temperature range and hopper capacity are not included in this listing.
- Pellet fuel, alloy steel construction
- Black finish
- 28 x 58 x 51 in footprint
- 285 lb overall weight
Who it's for
Dedicated backyard smokers who want a large capacity, mostly stationary pellet setup for long cook sessions. Not a match for anyone short on patio space or wanting something they can move often.
Pros and cons
- Large 58 in tall cabinet format
- Alloy steel construction
- Pellet fuel for steady low and slow cooking
- 285 lb weight, not portable
- Temperature range and hopper size not listed
- Only one review available
Performance notes
Pellet smokers hold low, steady temperatures over long stretches by auger-feeding wood pellets into a burn pot, which suits slow cooks like brisket or ribs, though this listing does not give the exact temperature range or hopper size. The alloy steel body is built for that kind of extended outdoor use.
