Overview
A collapsible travel foam roller with a bamboo core and aluminum hardware, expanding to a 5.5 inch diameter, 14.5 inch long roller from pull ropes and folding flat to under 2 inches thick for storage.
The pitch is portability without giving up a full-size roller's function: at 1.5 lbs it fits in a gym or swim bag and folds down small enough to travel with rather than staying at home.
- Collapses to under 2 inches, expands to 5.5 inch diameter
- Bamboo core with recyclable aluminum hardware
- 1.5 lbs, fits in a gym or travel bag
- 14.5 inch length spans the back
Who it's for
Runners, swimmers, and gym-goers who travel and want consistent access to a foam roller rather than skipping recovery on the road. Also fits anyone tight on storage space who wants a roller that folds flat.
Pros and cons
- Rolling motion described as slightly less smooth than a solid roller
- One reviewer's unit broke after about a year of light use
- Higher price than a standard fixed foam roller
Performance notes
Pulling the attached ropes expands the roller to full size, and pushing on the end disks collapses it back down for the bag.
