Overview
A backyard smoker who wants a vertical drum design on charcoal gets the Bronco Pro, with an alloy steel outer and a stainless steel inner. The listing names a user manual as the only included component.
A drum design concentrates the fire below the food, which suits charcoal smoking. Cooking area, vent layout and warranty are all missing, so capacity cannot be judged.
Who it's for
A backyard cook who smokes with charcoal and has patio space for a heavy drum. Those who move the smoker often, or want a published cooking area, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel inner
- User manual included
- Cooking area not listed
- Warranty details absent
Performance notes
In a drum smoker the fire burns in a basket below the food, and heat and smoke rise through the cooking level. Vents control airflow to the coals, so steady temperature depends on managing fuel and vent settings.
