A FIBA approved leather game ball for adult indoor play where grip and handling matter. It is pitched at indoor courts, so asphalt play is outside its intended use.

Overview
Molten builds the BG5000 as the top of the line indoor ball in its BG Basketball Series, with a leather cover made for grip and handling. Multi-layer stitched construction holds the panels together, and the ball carries FIBA approval for official play.
Official approval and a leather cover built for grip make it a ball for league and school gyms. Leather and an indoor focus make it a poor match for outdoor courts, and the listing gives no inflation pressure.
Who it's for
Adult players, coaches and teams that play indoors and want an officially approved ball get the format they compete with. Youth players needing a smaller size and anyone playing outside should choose a different ball.
Pros and cons
- FIBA approved for official play
- Leather cover built for grip
- Multi-layer stitched construction
- Two year manufacturer warranty
- Indoor ball, not for outdoor courts
- Inflation pressure not listed
- Only one size in this listing
Performance notes
Grip comes from the leather cover, which the seller describes as new technology aimed at handling. Stitched multi-layer construction governs how the ball holds its shape and bounce over time, and leather performs as designed on indoor floors.
