Overview
A nylon wound butyl bladder inside the Molten composite basketball holds air and shape, under a twelve panel composite cover designed for grip and handling. It is FIBA approved and built as an indoor game ball.
Official approval plus a grippy composite surface make it a dependable indoor ball for practice and games. It is described as an indoor ball, so rough outdoor courts will wear the cover faster.
Who it's for
Indoor players and coaches looking for a FIBA approved composite ball in the smaller size will be well served. Outdoor blacktop players should choose a rubber ball made for rough surfaces.
Pros and cons
- Composite cover for grip
- Nylon wound bladder holds shape
- Twelve panel official design
- Two year warranty
- Ships deflated, pump not included
- Indoor focus, not for blacktop
- Inflation pressure not listed
Performance notes
Grip comes from the composite cover surface, which holds the hand during dribbling and shooting. The nylon winding around the butyl bladder steadies shape and bounce. Correct inflation matters, since the ball ships deflated.
