Overview
Indoor players and teams get a full size Molten composite basketball approved by FIBA, with a twelve panel layout and a cover built for grip and handling. A nylon wound butyl bladder holds air and roundness.
An approved composite cover gives the hand feel players want in indoor games and practice. Its indoor design means outdoor concrete will wear it down, and the listing omits weight and inflation pressure.
Who it's for
Gym players, school teams and leagues using full size balls indoors will be at home with it. Anyone playing mostly on asphalt should choose a rubber ball instead.
Pros and cons
- Full size, FIBA approved
- Grippy composite cover
- Nylon winding holds shape
- Official twelve panel pattern
- Ships deflated, no pump listed
- Weight not listed
- Indoor cover wears outside
Performance notes
Handling depends on the composite cover's grip and how well the panels channel the fingers. The nylon winding around the butyl bladder steadies bounce and roundness over time. Setting the right pressure after unboxing is key to true bounce.
