Overview
Not an all surface ball, the Spalding Legacy NAIA edition is an indoor game ball with a wet grip microfiber composite cover that wicks sweat. Deep channels and a cushioned carcass give a true bounce and easy fingertip control.
Grip under sweat is the reason players reach for it, along with a feel that is ready out of the box. Outdoor courts will chew up the microfiber cover.
Who it's for
NAIA programs and serious indoor players who want game day feel in practice will value it. Outdoor hoopers need a rubber or outdoor composite ball.
Pros and cons
- Official NAIA game ball
- Sweat wicking cover
- Game ready out of the box
- Deep channels for grip
- Indoor play only
- Microfiber wears on rough surfaces
- Single color option
Performance notes
Grip comes from the microfiber composite cover, which pulls sweat away from the surface so the ball does not slip late in games. The cushioned carcass and balanced butyl bladder give a consistent bounce. Inflation level changes feel, so match the recommended pressure.
