Overview
Aura makes this Wi-Fi photo frame so relatives can send pictures from a smartphone app straight to the screen. A touch bar on the frame flips through photos, and it runs from a wall plug.
App delivery over Wi-Fi suits families spread across distances who want new photos to appear without cables or cards. The aluminum frame looks at home on a shelf. The listing does not state storage capacity or whether any features need a subscription.
Who it's for
Families who share photos with relatives far away get the most from app delivery. Homes without reliable Wi-Fi or buyers who prefer USB or card loading should look at other frames.
Pros and cons
- Photos sent from a phone app
- Touch bar for quick control
- Aluminum frame finish
- Wide screen ratio
- Storage capacity not listed
- Needs Wi-Fi to receive photos
- Must stay near a power outlet
Performance notes
Photo delivery depends on the home Wi-Fi network, since pictures arrive through the app rather than a card or cable. Sharpness rests on the screen resolution and the quality of the source photos. Corded power means it runs constantly without battery anxiety.
