Overview
A church hall, a school event or a family campsite suits these Retevis radios, which ship already paired with wireless Bluetooth earpieces. Staff can talk discreetly without a cord, and the radios still work on FRS channels without the headset.
Cord-free earpieces make ushering, security and event work look cleaner and more comfortable. The headsets pair only with these radios, and the listing gives conflicting water ratings.
Who it's for
Ushers, volunteers, small businesses and families who want simple license-free radios with wireless audio. People who want to use phone earbuds will be disappointed.
Pros and cons
- Wireless earpiece included
- Pre-paired out of the box
- Long standby time
- Charging docks included
- Headset pairs with RB37 only
- Water rating conflicts in listing
- Short range indoors
Performance notes
The earpiece links over Bluetooth within a short distance of the radio, so the radio stays clipped on the user. Range between radios is limited by FRS power, walls and terrain.
