Overview
The KastKing KTANETPT1 is a foldable aluminum fishing net with a 28 inch reach and a hoop sized roughly 16 by 12 by 12 inches, built for spinning and casting anglers who want it to pack down small.
The folding design collapses the handle and hoop for storage in a boat compartment or tackle bag, which is the main reason to pick it over a fixed net. The hoop dimensions put it in a mid-size range, workable for typical spinning and casting catches rather than oversized fish.
- 28 inch foldable reach
- Aluminum frame
- Hoop roughly 16 by 12 by 12 inches
- 0.51 kilogram weight
Who it's for
Spin and cast anglers who want a net that folds small for a boat or bank bag. Not for anglers targeting oversized fish that need a larger hoop.
Pros and cons
- Folds down for compact storage
- Aluminum frame resists rust
- 28 inch reach suits bank and boat use
- Hoop size is mid-range, not built for oversized fish
Performance notes
The aluminum frame is lighter than steel and holds up better in wet conditions, and the folding handle and hoop reduce the packed length considerably for storage, all while keeping the total weight around 0.51 kilograms.
