Overview
This Freestyle STEP platform is a home step-aerobics board with risers that raise the deck from 3 to 5 inches, built for cardio stepping, strength circuits or use as a sturdy step stool.
Category and title agree here: it's a straightforward adjustable-height step platform, not a full home gym system despite the broad workout-options phrasing in the listing. The compact 18 by 11 inch footprint and locking risers are the two facts worth weighing before buying.
- Adjustable 3 to 5 inch height
- 330+ lb weight rating
- Locking risers for stable stepping
- Doubles as a household step stool
Who it's for
Works for anyone doing step aerobics, cardio circuits or strength work in limited space at home. Less useful for group classes or larger stepping patterns given its 18 by 11 inch deck.
Pros and cons
- Height adjusts between 3 and 5 inches
- Supports over 330 lbs
- Compact 18 by 11 inch footprint for storage
- Non-slip, shock-absorbing surface
- Small deck size limits use for wide stepping patterns
Performance notes
Risers lock into the platform at either 3 or 5 inches, letting you scale intensity for cardio stepping or strength moves like step-ups, and the shock-absorbing, non-slip surface is rated to support over 330 lbs. When not in use, the platform and risers separate and stack for compact storage.
