Overview
Built for two people on one seat, the KingCamp Double Camping Chair combines a 660-pound combined weight rating with double-layer padding, dual cup holders, wine glass slots and a carry bag.
This is a chair built for sharing a seat rather than two people sitting separately, with a 54.3 by 36.2 by 20.9 inch seating area described as extra-wide. Steel tubing and 600D Oxford fabric carry the load rating, while the wine glass slots alongside the usual cup holders point to backyard or evening use as much as camping.
- Seats two on one 54.3-inch-wide chair
- 660-pound combined capacity
- Cup holders and wine glass slots for both seats
- Folds to 13.4 pounds with a carry bag
Who it's for
Couples or friends who want to sit side by side outdoors on one padded seat, at the beach, tailgate, backyard or campsite. It is not built for solo seating, so anyone wanting individual chairs for two people should look at a paired set instead.
Pros and cons
- 660-pound combined weight capacity
- Double-layer padding across a 54.3-inch-wide seat
- Two cup holders plus dedicated wine glass slots
- Folds to about 13.4 pounds with a carry bag
- Folded length runs about 36.2 inches, longer than a typical single chair
- Shared seating means less personal space than two separate chairs
Performance notes
Weight support comes from thickened steel tubing and reinforced anchor points across the frame, rated for 660 pounds combined between double-layer padding and 600D Oxford fabric. Anti-slip foot pads and a dual-support frame keep the wide seat stable on uneven ground. It folds down to roughly 9 by 9 by 36.2 inches at 13.4 pounds, carried in an Oxford bag with a shoulder strap and side handles.
