VEVOR Oversized Padded Camping Folding Chair

Overview

VEVOR's oversized folding camping chair adds a padded, high-back lumbar-support seat lined with pearl cotton, built on a steel frame with an X-shaped bracket rated for 450 lbs. Comes with side pockets, a cup holder and an attached cooler bag.

The 600D Oxford fabric is rated by the listing to resist heat up to 200 degrees Celsius, which matters more for sun-baked beach and lawn use than for typical shaded camping. At roughly 12 lbs (5.4 kg), it is the heaviest chair in this lineup, trading portability for the padding and 450 lb capacity that come with an oversized frame.

• 450 lb capacity
• 600D Oxford fabric rated to 200 C
• Pearl cotton padded seat with high backrest
• Attached cooler bag, cup holder and side pockets

Who it's for

Suited to campers, anglers and beach or lawn users who want a heavily padded, high-capacity seat and do not mind the extra weight in the trunk. Less suited to anyone prioritizing pack weight, where the 2.7 to 4 lb chairs elsewhere in this category fit better.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The X-shaped steel bracket under the seat is the structural piece that lets VEVOR rate this to 450 lbs, well above the other chairs in this batch, while the pearl cotton lining adds cushioning the plain-fabric chairs do not have. The one-second fold mechanism and waterproof PU carry bag are aimed at quick pack-up rather than pack weight.
