Overview
This magnetic rowing machine from Sunny Health & Fitness is built for home use, foldable for compact storage, with optional free SunnyFit app connectivity for tracking workouts.
Magnetic resistance rowers trade the loud chain-and-fan feel of air rowers for a quieter, smoother stroke, which is the main appeal for apartment or shared-space use. The SunnyFit app connection is listed as optional, so the machine works as a standalone rower without a phone paired to it.
- Magnetic resistance, quiet operation
- Compact folding storage
- Optional free SunnyFit app
- Model SF-RW523021
Who it's for
Fits buyers who want a home rower that stores away between sessions and does not disturb neighbors or housemates. Not the pick for rowers who want the resistance feel of an air or water rower rather than magnetic.
Pros and cons
- Magnetic resistance for a quieter stroke
- Folds for compact storage
- App connectivity is optional, not required
- No listed weight capacity or resistance level count in the source data
- Magnetic feel differs from air or water rowers, which some lifters prefer
Performance notes
Magnetic resistance rowers use a flywheel braked by magnets rather than air or water, giving consistent, adjustable resistance with less operating noise than fan-based designs. That quieter stroke is the core mechanical tradeoff buyers are making relative to air rowers.
