Overview
The QualyQualy SHUANGC-100 is a rubber mesh landing net with a 40 inch hoop, finished in black and built to fold down for storage. It weighs roughly 0.92 kilograms, about 2 pounds.
Rubber netting is gentler on a fish's scales and slime coat than knotted nylon mesh, which matters for anglers releasing their catch. The 40 inch hoop gives enough coverage for most freshwater and inshore species, and the foldable design is aimed at anglers who need to stow the net in a boat or tackle bag.
- 40 inch hoop
- Rubber mesh material
- Foldable, portable design
- Black finish
Who it's for
Anglers who practice catch and release and want a net that limits scale and slime damage. Also fits boat or kayak anglers short on storage space thanks to the folding hoop.
Pros and cons
- Rubber mesh is gentle on fish
- Folds down for storage
- 40 inch hoop covers most species
- No handle length listed
- Folding mechanism is an extra part to maintain
Performance notes
The rubber mesh flexes around a fish's body and resists tangling with hooks and fins, which reduces handling time compared with stiffer knotted netting. The folding hoop collapses the net's footprint for transport, though it adds a mechanism that a fixed hoop net does not have.
