Overview

A collapsible crabbing net from QualyQualy, built from metal and nylon, sold in a medium size two-piece black set weighing about one kilogram.

Collapsible nets fold down for storage on a boat or dock, then open for use, and the crabbing-technique listing points to a net meant for scooping crabs rather than landing gamefish. The two-piece set suggests a spare or paired net rather than a single unit.

Who it's for

Suited to crabbers wanting a foldable net that packs small between uses. Not built as a landing net for larger gamefish given its crabbing classification.

Pros and cons

Pros

Collapsible for compact storage
Sold as a two-piece set
Metal frame with nylon mesh

Cons

Built for crabbing, not general fish landing
No stated handle length

Performance notes

The metal frame folding down keeps the net compact for transport, while the nylon mesh does the scooping work; collapsible frames like this trade some rigidity for storage convenience compared to fixed-frame nets.
