Overview
A rotary knob on top picks one of the preset channels, so these Baofeng radios work without menus or a screen. Each handset has a rechargeable battery and dock, and the ten pack comes with an earpiece for every radio.
Equipping a whole crew with matching radios and earpieces is the strength of this set. Rain, no display and short range among buildings limit where it works well.
Who it's for
Hotel, kitchen, warehouse and construction teams get ten simple radios that anyone can use. Hikers wanting weather alerts or a waterproof handset should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Ten radios plus earpieces
- Simple knob channel selection
- VOX hands free talk
- Flashlight and low battery alarm
- Not water resistant
- Short range among buildings
Performance notes
UHF signals pass through walls and around obstacles better than VHF, but buildings and battery level still cut range. Keeping all radios on the same preset channel is the only setup most crews need.
