More from this brandAll Vector Optics rifle scopesOverview
A true 1x to 8x first focal plane low-power variable optic with a 30mm tube, capped 1/10 MIL turrets and a VCO-1 MIL reticle. Built for shooters who want both-eyes-open close-range speed and enough zoom to reach out for more precise shots.
True 1x magnification at the bottom of the zoom range is meant to mimic a red dot for fast, both-eyes-open shooting, while the first focal plane reticle keeps holdover marks accurate all the way up to 8x.
- True 1x-8x24mm first focal plane zoom
- 30mm monotube, capped 1/10 MIL turrets
- VCO-1 MIL reticle with BDC
- 1000G shock tested, IPX7 rated
Who it's for
Tactical and hunting shooters who want one scope to cover close-quarters speed and mid-range precision without buying a separate red dot. Less useful for shooters who only need a fixed high-magnification scope for long range.
Pros and cons
- True 1x magnification for both-eyes-open close shooting
- First focal plane reticle stays accurate through 8x zoom
- 1000G shock tested, IPX7 water resistant
- Illumination brightness has no off stop between levels, so you cycle through all settings to reach the one you want
Performance notes
First focal plane construction means the VCO-1 MIL reticle scales with the image, so holdover marks stay proportional whether you're at 1x or 8x, and the capped 1/10 MIL turrets keep elevation and windage adjustments precise while guarding against accidental bumps. The 30mm monotube is shock tested to 1000G and rated IPX7 for water resistance.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a true 1x scope?
Yes, it offers true 1x magnification at the low end, allowing both-eyes-open shooting similar to a red dot, with an 8x zoom factor available for more precise shots.
Is the reticle first or second focal plane?
First focal plane, so the VCO-1 MIL reticle scales with the target image and holdover marks stay accurate at any magnification.
