Fitvids 2-Inch Olympic Bumper Plates

Overview

The Fitvids QD740-EEBLK-BP45P is a pair of rubber weight plates in black with a combined item weight of 45 pounds. Rubber construction generally means a quieter, floor-friendlier plate than bare cast iron.

The BP in the model code and the rubber material both point to this being a coated or bumper-style plate rather than raw iron, though the listing does not confirm bore size for bar compatibility. Sold as 2 pieces, it reads as a matched pair rather than a full multi-plate set.

• Rubber material
• 45 pound combined item weight
• Sold in a pair (2 pieces)
• Black finish

Who it's for

Fits a home gym where floor noise and protection matter, since rubber plates cushion drops better than cast iron. Less suited to lifters who specifically want bare iron for its lower cost per pound or who need Olympic bore confirmed before buying.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Rubber coating absorbs impact when plates are set down or dropped, reducing noise and floor damage compared to bare cast iron, though rubber plates typically cost more per pound. The pair here totals 45 pounds combined.
