Overview
Not a basic music player, this innioasis model runs Android with the Google Play Store, so kids or adults can stream Spotify or Pandora, play local lossless files and watch HD video, with a parental control app built in.
Streaming apps with parent-set limits, plus a large card included, make it a strong phone alternative for kids. The storage figure counts the included card.
Who it's for
Suited to kids, commuters and audiobook listeners. People who want a tiny clip-on player for runs should look for something smaller.
Pros and cons
- Play Store apps
- Detailed parental controls
- Large card included
- Wide audio format support
- Storage figure includes the card
- Heavier than a basic player
- Battery life listed only as all day in bullets
Performance notes
Streaming over WiFi and Bluetooth headphones draws more battery than offline playback. A dedicated HiFi audio module and the USB-C digital output help sound quality with good headphones or a DAC.
