Overview
Not a frame you load with a memory card, this Aura Carver pulls photos over Wi-Fi from family members' phones, email and cloud albums. The HD screen adjusts brightness to the room, and a white mat gives it the look of a printed photo.
Shared, subscription-free photo storage lets a whole family send pictures to one frame from anywhere. It runs on wall power, which limits where it can stand.
Who it's for
Families spread across cities who want a shared window into daily life will use it most. Homes without Wi-Fi cannot use its main feature.
Pros and cons
- No subscription for storage
- Family can send photos remotely
- Plays short videos with sound
- Adjusts to room lighting
- Needs Wi-Fi to add photos
- Corded power only
- Video clips limited in length
- Smaller screen size
Performance notes
Photos arrive over Wi-Fi, so the frame updates when anyone in the invited group shares from the app, email or cloud albums. A light sensor matches screen brightness to the room, which helps photos look printed rather than glowing. Automatic on and off saves power overnight.
