Overview
Not a plain white tournament ball, the Maxfli TriFli USA carries a red, white and blue design. Its low compression core, resilient mantle and soft ionomer cover aim for soft feel and long, straight flight.
Golfers get soft feel off the face and help lining up putts, with a look that stands out on the course. Spin numbers and cover hardness are not given, so better players have little data to go on.
Who it's for
Recreational rounds, gifts and patriotic golf outings suit these balls. Players who choose a ball by measured spin should look for more data.
Pros and cons
- Soft feel from low compression
- Mantle layer reduces driver spin
- Alignment aid helps on greens
- Eye-catching USA design
- Spin figures not listed
- Themed look not for everyone
- Single gloss white color base
Performance notes
Feel comes from the low compression core, which deforms more at impact. The mantle trims driver spin for distance, while the dimple pattern shapes launch and lift for a straighter flight.
