Overview
Not a loose carabiner and not a single draw, this is a boxed set of six sport quickdraws. Each one pairs two D-shape carabiners with a nylon sling and a wire gate on the rope end and the bolt end.
A full set removes the need to buy draws one at a time, and the colorway makes it easy to tell them from a trad rack. Strength ratings and gate openings are absent, so those details must come from the markings on the gear.
Who it's for
Sport climbers working bolted routes get a matched set that clips quickly and hangs neatly on a harness. Climbers who want a mixed set of lengths, or who must verify strength ratings before buying, should read the maker documentation first.
Pros and cons
- Full set of six in one pack
- Wire gates are light to carry
- D-shape carabiners ease clipping
- Nylon sling is easy to inspect
- Strength ratings not listed
- Single sling length in this pack
- Gate opening size is unspecified
Performance notes
Wire gates cut weight and resist gate flutter, while the D profile loads the spine of the carabiner. The sling length sets how much rope drag a route produces, so a shorter draw suits straight lines and a longer one suits wandering ones.
