Overview
A 25 oz bag of Instinct freeze dried raw dog food bites in grass fed beef, grain free and made for all life stages. Suited to owners feeding a raw style diet without the handling of frozen raw.
Freeze drying is meant to preserve a raw diet's nutrient profile while making the food shelf stable, and Instinct markets these as ready to eat bites rather than requiring rehydration, though owners who prefer a softer texture can still add water. Being labeled for all life stages rather than a specific age band gives it broader use across a household with multiple dogs.
- 25 oz bag, grass fed beef flavor
- Freeze dried raw, grain free formula
- Labeled for all life stages
- Gluten free and wheat free
Who it's for
Dog owners interested in raw feeding who want a freeze dried, grain free option they can serve straight from the bag. Less suited to owners looking for the lowest cost everyday kibble, since freeze dried raw runs at a premium.
Pros and cons
- Grain free, gluten free and wheat free formula
- Freeze dried raw, no freezer storage needed
- Suitable for all life stages
- Grass fed beef as the named protein
- No customer review text available
- Freeze dried raw food typically costs more per pound than standard kibble
Performance notes
The bites are freeze dried rather than frozen, so they store at room temperature and are marketed as feedable straight from the bag. Beef is the named protein, and the formula is gluten free and wheat free.
