Overview
The Gaiam 05-64756 is a PVC exercise mat weighing about 3 pounds, finished in the Lunar Wave print, sized for yoga and floor-based workouts.
PVC is the material most yoga and exercise mats use for its grip and cushioning, though it is heavier and less packable than newer TPE blends. Gaiam is known for printed mat designs, and Lunar Wave is one of its patterned colorways rather than a plain solid.

Who it's for
Suits anyone doing yoga, stretching, or floor exercises at home who wants a cushioned, grippy surface. Not the pick for someone who needs an ultralight travel mat, since PVC construction adds weight versus foam or TPE options.
Pros and cons
- PVC surface grips well during floor work
- Cushioning suits yoga and stretching
- Printed Lunar Wave design
- PVC adds weight versus foam or TPE mats
Performance notes
PVC mats grip well on hard flooring and resist compressing flat over time, which is why the material remains common in studio-style mats despite weighing more than foam alternatives.
