Overview
The Micro MG060 is a lighter pair of alloy steel weight plates in black, listed with a combined item weight of 5 pounds. Like the MG061, it ships as a two piece set rather than a single plate.
At 5 pounds combined, this is the lighter option in Micro's plate lineup, likely intended for smaller increments or lighter accessory lifts rather than heavy barbell loading. Hole diameter is not given, so matching it to an existing bar or handle needs a separate check.
- Alloy steel material
- 5 lb combined item weight
- Sold as a pair (2 pieces)
- Black finish
Who it's for
Lifters fine tuning load in small increments on an existing bar or handle get the most use from this pair. It is not the plate to reach for if the goal is adding heavy load quickly.
Pros and cons
- Useful for small, precise load increments
- Sold as a matched pair
- Light combined weight limits it to fine tuning
- No listed hole diameter to confirm fit
Performance notes
Because the combined weight sits at just 5 pounds, this pair works well for small adjustments to an existing load rather than as a primary source of resistance. The alloy steel build matches the heavier MG061 in material, just scaled down in weight.
