Overview
The 2025 Supersoft carries forward Callaway's low-compression HyperElastic SoftFast core in a new hybrid cover system aimed at adding greenside spin and control without losing distance off the tee.
This is the newest version of Callaway's long-running Supersoft line, and the core distance-plus-soft-feel formula stays the same. What's new for 2025 is the cover system, which Callaway positions as improving control on approach and short game shots specifically, while the core still does the work of generating speed for moderate swing speeds.
- 2025 hybrid cover system
- HyperElastic SoftFast core
- Greenside spin and control focus
- Standard golf ball category
Who it's for
Golfers who want a soft-feeling ball with strong wedge control, including moderate swing speed players who found earlier Supersoft models effective. High swing speed players seeking maximum driver spin control may prefer a tour ball.
Pros and cons
- Updated cover improves greenside control
- Low-compression core suits moderate swings
- Soft feel with distance retained
- Marginal change over prior Supersoft models
- Not aimed at high swing speed players
Performance notes
The HyperElastic SoftFast core keeps the low-compression design that lets moderate swing speeds compress the ball fully for more speed, while feeling soft at impact. The new cover system is aimed specifically at approach and short game shots, giving more spin and control on those shots without changing how the ball behaves off the driver.
