Overview
A snag-free HotForge keylock carabiner on top and a redesigned HotWire wiregate on the bottom define this hybrid draw. A Straitjacket insert in the polyester dogbone holds the bottom carabiner in position for clipping.
Sport climbers building a rack get matched draws that combine smooth clipping with wiregate lightness. The bottom carabiner is colored as a visual target, and the listing omits strength ratings and weight.
Who it's for
Sport climbers who want a full six-pack with a keylock top and a wiregate bottom can use them across routes. Anyone who needs published strength, weight or gate opening should check the maker's specifications.
Pros and cons
- Keylock top avoids snagging
- Wiregate bottom is easy to clip
- Insert holds bottom carabiner in place
- Colored bottom carabiner as a visual target
- Strength ratings not listed
- Weight not listed
- Single draw length in this pack
Performance notes
A keylock nose has no hook to catch on a bolt, while a wiregate is light and clips easily. The Straitjacket insert stops the bottom carabiner from rotating, so the clipping position stays consistent.
