A complete starter kit that lets a new drummer practice quietly with headphones and play along with apps. The pads are small, so players with large hands or long-term ambitions will outgrow the layout.

Overview
Beginners get a full electronic kit in one box: mesh snare, toms and kick, three cymbal pads, a throne, sticks, headphones and a pedal. The sound module plays the built-in kits through headphones or speakers, and the metal frame folds away after practice.
Everything a new player needs arrives together, so practice starts on day one without a shopping list. Mesh heads and a mesh kick pad cut impact noise for shared walls. The pads are compact, and the listing gives no frame weight, which matters for moving it often.
Who it's for
New players and parents setting up a first kit get every part needed to start, plus app play-along over Bluetooth. Drummers moving up from an acoustic set will find the compact pads cramped.
Pros and cons
- Throne, sticks and headphones in the box
- Mesh snare and kick soften impact noise
- Bluetooth link for app play-along
- USB MIDI for recording software
- Small pad sizes limit stick room
- Frame weight not listed
- Hi-hat is a single-zone pad
Performance notes
Feel is governed by the mesh heads, whose tension sets the rebound on the snare. Dual-zone snare and cymbal pads trigger different sounds by strike position, which adds expression. Noise for neighbors depends mostly on the kick pedal hitting the mesh kick pad, the loudest part of any electronic kit.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Donner DED-100 (2026) need assembly?
The listing describes a foldable frame that expands for playing and folds down for storage. It does not list assembly steps or tools, so expect to attach pads and cables when unboxing.
Can the Donner electronic drum set connect to a computer?
Yes. It lists USB MIDI for computers, Bluetooth for apps, an AUX input, a headphone output and main audio outputs.
Is the Donner DED-100 quiet enough for an apartment?
It uses a dual-zone mesh snare and a mesh kick pad that reduce impact noise. Pedal and pad thumps still carry through floors, so a mat helps.

A drum throne, drumsticks, headphones and a kick pedal come with the pads, cymbals and sound module.
