Overview
SanDisk makes the Cruzer Glide as a capless USB flash drive with a connector that slides out of the body, and this bundle packs five of them with matching lanyards. Each drive holds documents, presentations and small photo sets.
Small capacity drives in a five pack suit documents and slides rather than media libraries. Write speed is missing from the listing, which matters for large copies.
Who it's for
Students, teachers and small offices passing around papers and presentations get spare drives for each task. People backing up large media should look at higher capacity drives.
Pros and cons
- Five drives with lanyards
- No cap to lose
- USB 3.0 interface
- Small capacity per drive
- Write speed not listed
- USB-A plug only
Performance notes
Read speed reaches the listed rate on a matching fast USB port and drops on older ports. Sliding the connector back in after each use protects the contacts from dust and bending.
