Overview
SanDisk Ultra drives in this bundle use a sliding, retractable connector that tucks the USB plug inside the body when not in use. Ten matching drives come with ten lanyards for labeling and carrying.
Ten identical drives with a capless slide design suit offices and classes that hand out files in bulk. All of them use the Type-A plug, so phones and USB-C laptops need adapters.
Who it's for
Schools, IT teams and trade show booths that give out many drives at once get the count they need. One person looking for a personal drive will end up with spares they do not use.
Pros and cons
- Ten matching drives in one bundle
- Retractable plug needs no cap
- Lanyard per drive
- Backward compatible with USB 2.0
- Write speed not listed
- Slide mechanism has moving parts
Performance notes
Speed depends on the host: a current USB port lets it reach the listed transfer rate, while an older USB port limits it. Sliding the connector back in after each use guards the contacts from dust and bent pins.
