A light seat for stadium benches and campsites when a framed camp chair is too much to carry. Seat height is missing from the listing, so confirm how it rests on uneven ground before buying.
One of the lighter folding chairs in this class at 2.7 lbs, particularly suited to backpackers who accept a firmer, more minimal seat in exchange for pack space.
A wide-seat, aluminum-frame chair aimed at backpackers who want more room in the seat without giving up the sub-3-lb pack weight they rely on.
A steel-frame folding chair built for car camping and tailgating, not for packing into a backpack.
A very light, small-packing camp seat for backpackers and travelers who accept sitting close to the ground. The low, armless seat makes standing up harder for anyone with stiff knees.
A matched two-pack for lighter users who want two chairs at once, with the manufacturer's own weight and height ceiling worth respecting.
A folding lounger that lets you raise your legs while still sitting upright, then recline when you want to nap. It folds flat but stays long, so check trunk space.
Built for lying flat at the shore, this recline-to-flat lounger pair is not meant to double as an upright camp chair.
A straightforward, light 2-pack chair set with a 400 lb rating and quick setup, reasonable for casual outdoor use rather than heavy daily wear.
A light, packable beach seat for carrying across sand to the water line, with a high load rating. It has no armrests and only one recline angle, so lounging options are limited.
An ultralight reclining chair for backpackers who want a seat with a backrest at camp. Weight capacity and chair weight are not listed, which matters for heavier campers and ounce counters.
An ultralight camp seat for backpackers who would otherwise rest on a log. The small, upright mesh seat suits short breaks better than long evenings of lounging.
A light, strong field chair for hunts and basecamp with grippy feet and a carry bag. It has no armrests, and the cup holder is sold separately.
A comfortable, high-back camp chair for people who want to lean back with head support at concerts, beaches or campsites. Weight capacity and packed weight are not listed.
A two person camp loveseat with a strong aluminum frame and a carry bag that becomes a dog bed. It is heavier and bulkier than two single chairs.
A folding steel beach chair with padded arms that packs down for carrying. The listing does not explain the rocking motion or the seat height.
